Frequently asked questions

On this page you will find answers to common questions about Partotech, crane spare parts, technical support and the quotation process. If your question is not listed here, you can contact us directly. We will review your request and help you take the next step.

Do you supply OEM crane spare parts?

Yes. Partotech can help source OEM spare parts through a network of trusted suppliers. OEM parts are often the right choice when the original specification is required, when the part is critical to the crane system or when the customer prefers a direct replacement from the original source.

To help us check availability, please provide the part number, crane brand, crane type, serial number and any available documentation or photos. The more information you provide, the easier it becomes to prepare a clear request for suppliers.

Can you also supply alternative spare parts?

Yes. In some situations, Partotech can help source compatible alternative spare parts. This may be useful when an OEM part has a long lead time, is difficult to source or is not commercially attractive for the customer.

Alternative parts must always be reviewed carefully. The part should match the technical requirements and be suitable for the application. Partotech helps customers explore possible options, but the final choice should always be made with proper attention to safety, reliability and system requirements.

What information do you need for a quotation?

For a quotation, we recommend sending as much technical information as possible. Useful details include crane brand, crane type, serial number, part number, photos, drawings, dimensions, quantity, delivery location and required delivery time.

If you do not have all this information, send what you have. Partotech can review the details and ask for additional information if needed.

Can you help identify a part if I do not have a part number?

Yes, in many cases we can help review the available information and support the identification process. Clear photos, markings, measurements, nameplates, crane details and information about where the part is installed can all help.

Some parts may still be difficult to identify without additional technical documentation or supplier input. In those cases, we will explain what information is needed to continue.

Do you support customers outside the Netherlands?

Yes. Partotech is based in the Netherlands and supports customers worldwide. When sending a request, please include the delivery country or delivery address if available. This helps us review logistics and provide a more complete response.

Which industries do you support?

Partotech supports customers in the crane and maritime industry, including crane owners, operators, service companies, maintenance companies, maritime businesses and industrial users of crane systems. We can assist with spare parts requests, technical questions and customer-specific sourcing needs.

Do you only work with crane systems?

Partotech is focused on crane-related parts, technical support and customer-specific requirements in the crane and maritime industry. If your request is related to lifting equipment, crane systems or similar technical applications, you can send it to us. We will review whether we can help.

Can you help with urgent requests?

Yes, you can contact Partotech for urgent spare part requests. Please clearly mention the urgency and provide all available information from the start. This helps us check options faster.

Availability and delivery time depend on the part, supplier and logistics. We cannot guarantee that every urgent request can be solved immediately, but we will review the available options as quickly and practically as possible.

Can you provide technical advice?

Yes. Partotech offers practical technical advice related to crane parts, component identification and sourcing options. Our advice is based on hands-on industry experience in crane systems, aftersales, service and parts supply.

For safety-critical issues, on-site inspection or certified service work may be required. Partotech can support the parts and technical sourcing process, but equipment safety must always be handled responsibly.

How does the request process work?

The process starts when you send your request. Partotech reviews the available information and checks whether additional details are needed. We then contact relevant suppliers or review possible sourcing options. Once a suitable option is found, we provide a quotation or feedback about the next step.

Our goal is to keep the process clear, practical and focused on results.
